Clair R. Galdonik
Loving Husband, Father and Grandfather Age 92, of St. Paul, died suddenly and peacefully at home on December 17, 2011. Preceded in death by parents, Andrew and Susan; brother, Bernard and sister, Lucy Rosenwald. Survived by loving wife of 54 years, Patricia; children, Michael, Rick (Kitie Thirakoun) and Patrick (Cathy); grandchildren, Garrett, Sarah and Lydia. Clair proudly served his country in the Army (90th Infantry Division) during WWII and was involved in the D-Day Invasion of Normandy on June 6, 1944. Clair was a longtime employee of Koch Refinery. In retirement he actively volunteered at the VA Hospital in Minneapolis. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Wednesday at LUMEN CHRISTI CATHOLIC CHURCH (2055 Bohland Ave., St. Paul) with visitation from 9:30 AM until time of service at the church. Inurnment at Fort Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the Veterans organization of your choice or Lumen Christi Catholic Church. Arr.
